I provide personal non-religious funeral ceremonies in Cumbria, North Lancashire and North Yorkshire. I am accredited with the British Humanist Association and have been conducting humanist ceremonies for six years.  

Each ceremony is personally written to reflect the individuality of the person who has died and to celebrate the life they have lived. There is no set format and a ceremony can be personalised with tributes, readings and music, with family and friends being welcome to contribute as much or as little as they wish.  

To help you plan a personal ceremony, I will spend time finding out as much as possible about the person who has died. This usually involves making a home visit but I can talk on the phone or correspond by email.

My fee: £180 + travel (charged at 45p per mile) for a simple ceremony at a crematorium or burial ground. Before I undertake any work I will provide you with an accurate quotation.
