The Windmills Natural Green Burial Ground is situated in Northamptonshire’s beautiful open countryside, approximately 1.1km to the south-east of Roade and 0.6km to the north-west of Hartwell. This 5acre site lies outside village confines and draws on the characteristics of the surrounding area and open
The site has an open sided wooden eco shelter for funeral gatherings or to shelter in and enjoy the views or share a picnic as well as seated areas for reflection and remembrance. Bird and bat boxes will become a feature alongside a variety of birds, animals, insects and plants.
