Eden Valley Woodland Burial Grounds is operated and managed by the Natural Death Centre charity. At the forefront of the green natural burial grounds movement since the early 1990s it runs the Association of Natural (green) Burial Grounds, the only organisation that scrutinises the green burial movement in the UK. The charity has established this cemetery to demonstrate best practice, to train prospective green cemetery managers from around the UK and abroad, and to offer an affordable, positive experience for bereaved families in the Kent area.
