A victim of its own success Kent Natural Burial's Deerton site is now full and only open to those who already own outstanding Rights Of Burial.
KNB has opened a new site on the other side of Sittingbourne. Riverview Natural Burial Ground. Please see the separate listing for details or contact Sian as below.
Deerton is managed on sound ecological lines and will be cared for by a trust, when full, as a nature reserve. The first burial was in September '07. People of all faiths are welcome and no extra charge is made for non Kent residents. Coffins must be biodegradable and native memorial trees are planted. A large car park is open on burial days with a smaller one open at all times.
