Sun Rising Natural Burial Ground, Near Tysoe, Warwickshire

Sun Rising is a burial ground of exceptional peace, chosen by those wishing to be laid to rest in the beauty and serenity of nature, and those seeking a genuine environmentally ethical option.

A carefully managed site, we offer a personal service, working closely with families and funeral directors to ensure every funeral is just what is hoped for – from traditional to modern, religious to secular.

Our Roundhouse gives the option of shelter for onsite funeral services, or a marquee can be hired for larger events and funeral teas.  Each funeral is offered 3 hours or more, so there is no rush.

Graves can be in meadow or developing woodland where a tree can be bought for the grave, and only native trees, shrubs, wildflowers and bulbs are planted. Grave ornaments are strictly not allowed.  Beautiful slate memorial plaques are available to mark graves or to place elsewhere.
