A funeral service is a vital part of the process of accepting a loss, so while it is a sad time that a loved one has been taken, we will celebrate what was their life with the people closest to them. The people in that room are there for that one single purpose, those people may never all be in the same place at the same time again. It is for everyone in the room to feel part of and connected to the occassion and that we do not ruin it with dogmatic nonsense.  Non-Religious Celebration/Commemoration of your loved ones life.
