Celebrants
Marc Oxley Rutland, Corby, Kettering, Stamford, Bourne, Leicestershire (East and South)
I have worked in the Funeral Industry since 2004 and trained as a Civil Funeral Celebrant with the Institute of Civil Funerals in March 2006. Since then I have officiated at over 200 Funerals in Crematoria, Municipal Cemeteries and Green Burial Sites as well as private homes. Sizes of congregations have ranged from 3 to 300; all the ceremonies have been well received. My job is to put into words what the family wants to say. Using words, music and personal reminiscences I will create a bespoke ceremony that will celebrate the life of the person who has died in a meaningful and dignified way. Beforehand you will have sight of every word that will be said to ensure it is accurate and after the ceremony if you want I will send you a hard copy which will act as memorial to your family member for future generations. My fee: £135 + Travelling Affiliation organisation: I am a Fellow of the Society of Bereavement Practitioners. I am also a Member of Transitus and Dying Matters I am willing to travel to help families from other areas. The maximum distance will be 50 miles from my base in Rutland. Additional costs: Up to a maximum £20 for Travelling
