David Orman Stockport, Tameside, the whole of Greater Manchester and beyond.

My role as a Funeral Celebrant is to make sure your loved one’s funeral is personal and meaningful.

The ceremonies I create are as varied as the people whose lives they celebrate. Every person is an individual; so every ceremony is individual, too.

Some prefer rather traditional ceremonies; others, something a little out of the ordinary. Some ceremonies are entirely secular or humanist; others reflect the spiritual or religious views of the person who has died and their family. The important thing is that the ceremony is appropriate to the person we’re remembering. Whatever your thoughts, I’ll gladly explore with you how we can reflect them in the best way possible.

I uphold the highest professional standards. am an enthusiastic signatory to the Funeral Celebrancy Council’s Funeral Celebrant Accord, and a supporter of the Natural Death Society.

Although independent, I’m proud to be a member of the United Kingdom Society of Celebrants (UKSOC), with whom I trained, and the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC).

For your peace of mind, I hold Public Liability (£5,000,000) and Professional Indemnity Insurance (£1,000,000)

PRICES (as of May 2021).  £199 per individual funeral (add 50p per mile beyond 15 miles of the SK14 postcode). Ashes interments or scattering, and Memorial Ceremonies, priced individually.
