Andrea Wren Tameside-based, covering Greater Manchester, Stockport, Cheshire, Glossop and surrounds (travel expenses applicable for non-local areas).

I hold the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy (RCF). This means that I have achieved the highest possible, accredited qualification in funeral celebrancy that there is, and am able to deal with the creation and delivery of a funeral or other end-of-life ceremony with respect, sensitivity and empathy.

I can work with you to create a meaningful funeral, memorial service, or scattering-of-ashes ceremony that is unique to the individual that you loved. This can include religious elements such as hymns or prayers if you wish, or the ceremony may be entirely non-religious, or humanist. My training as a civil celebrant, without a rigid affiliation to one belief system, means I can offer this flexibility.

I work with you to create the funeral that you want. I can help with suggestions for alternatives from the ordinary, for something that is more unique and truly reflective of the person you knew - or that will help you say goodbye to them better.

I will meet you initially to gather the details and information needed, and then spend time on the script, giving you a chance to approve it before it is decided. With a career history in journalism, my writing skills are especially adept, and therefore I have the utmost confidence that I can craft the perfect script for you.

After the service, you will receive a beautifully presented copy of the full ceremony script, for you to keep as a memory.

You may request my services through your funeral director, and specifically ask for me, or you may contact me individually.

Fee: £206 (additional travel expenses applicable outside local area – please enquire)
