My name is Tim Maguire. I’m the honorary humanist chaplain to the University of Edinburgh and I’m also a celebrant with a humanist and spiritual organisation called Celebrate People. I’ve been conducting funerals since 2005 mostly in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians, but I’m happy to travel further if need be.

 I love what I do and I see it as a vocation. It’s a privilege to celebrate a person's life, and because my ceremonies are about ‘the life lived’, with all its joys, triumphs and disappointments, everyone can relate to them, whatever they believe.
