I can create a personal, bespoke funeral ceremony for your loved one that honours the beliefs of all concerned and celebrates the life of the one who has died. The service will include as much or as little spiritual or religious content as feels right to you, and you will be able to choose whatever you would like in terms of ritual, readings, and music. You can include prayers, or simply make time for some thoughtful silence. I am willing to give you guidance and direction if required, or to take a brief based on the known wishes of your loved one, taking into account your own feelings and needs.

I can also create a separate ceremony for placing or dispersing the ashes after cremation; or a memorial ceremony separate from the funeral itself.

Funeral fees range from £150 and depend on length, size, location and distance of the ceremony. There may be an additional charge for travelling distances further than 40 miles. The fee includes an initial meeting to discuss your wishes and learn something about your loved one. Following this I will create the ceremony and liaise further with you and others involved to ensure that the ceremony goes smoothly. On the day of the funeral I will be at the venue in good time to welcome you and conduct the ceremony itself.

I can also help you to create your own funeral in advance of your death. This can be a very creative and affirming process which helps you to come to terms with the process of aging and perhaps even with the knowledge that you have a terminal illness.
