Hannah Osmond - Brighton, East Sussex
Through a sensitive and respectful approach I create beautiful and personal funeral services, memorials and celebration of life ceremonies. Being fully independent, I will work closely with you to develop a fitting and poignant tribute to your loved one - which may, or may not, include religious or spiritual elements, as you wish.

With excellent attention to detail and clear and open communication, I will help you navigate one of the trickiest moments during your lifetime.

As a safe and trusted pair of hands, I have experience in cremations, burials (including natural burials) ashes scatterings and interments; as well as providing farewell services in non-traditional settings such as private homes, gardens, village halls, the pub (!) etc.
I am based in Balcombe, in West Sussex, and work locally as well as farther afield. I am always happy to share advice and talk through ideas at no cost to you, so do get in touch, if you think I may be able to help. Please also contact me if you would like a copy of my digital brochure.
In my spare time I enjoy time with my son, Reuben, walking my dogs and being told what to do by my two cats! I'm a huge lover of the outdoors, yoga, podcasts, chocolate and gardening.
“Just to say thank you doesn’t seem enough, you made the service so personal and it was lovely. All of your additions and bringing the individual parts together were perfect. I read your transcript every now and then and find it comforting even through the tears. I had so many comments as to what a lovely service it was, and that’s down to you.”

“I would like to say on behalf of myself and my family a huge ‘thank-you’ for making one of the worst days of our lives bearable. Your professionalism, passion and calm helped us all through our worst moments, throughout the funeral service. I thank you so so much.”

“You were a real delight to work with.  You did a wonderful job and I know it’s just how dad would have wanted it.  We had many compliments about the service yesterday and one person even said it’s exactly how she would like her own funeral to be.”

“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the sensitivity and professionalism with which you guided us through the service yesterday. You made the impossible possible and the difficult tolerable.  Without your assured but gentle guiding hand we would have been lost. I speak of yesterday, but what I have said is as true of the way you held our faltering hands though the journey towards the funeral. I thank you for it all.  Be proud of what you do.”
