All of us, at some time or other, have something to celebrate in our lives. Sometimes we want to celebrate the life of someone who has died, to mark their passing as a tribute to them - but also to give thanks for the gifts that they have given us as we have shared the journey of their life.  For a thousand different reasons, many people now-a-days have no formal link with the Church, but neither do they feel that the humanist path is necessarily the right one for them.
