Hello my name is Fred.
I officiate at ALL types of funerals, particularly GREEN AND NATURAL ceremonies. Also alternative, Gay and themed funerals as well as traditional funerals. I’m interested in anything anyone has to say about anything.
I was born in England and have spent nearly all my life as an entertainer. I have been an actor, a tightrope walker and a swordswallower. For many years I ran a French National Circus School in the South of France. I have performed all over the world from USA to China.
I have spent a large part of my career working with children with learning and emotional difficulties and adults with dementia.I occasionally perform as a singer working with the elderly and I perform with my black Labrador Henry the ‘world’s only mind reading dog!’ I am happily married to Wendy and I have a lovely daughter and now I'm a very happy grandad!
I am also a fully qualified Secular Civil Celebrant. Registered with the UK Society of Celebrants.
In the last few years I have seen Loved ones pass away and Loved ones marry and Loved ones born into the family. The cycle of life playing out. I feel very honoured to be part of a profession right at the very heart of these wondrous events.
As your Funeral Celebrant I will work very closely with you to create a unique and very personal celebration that all present will remember as something special.
A life-centered funeral means the absence of a strict religious framework allowing for the creation of the entire ceremony to be in the hands of the family and the Celebrant. We can choose the structure of the ceremony We can choose what We say and how We say it.
The ceremony is free of religious dogma and as such creativity is possible, and an experience which is truly centered on the deceased can be shared by all.
I’m based in the Brighton area but will travel anywhere anytime. Ring me anytime I will be happy to help you at this most difficult time.
