Charles Russell - Devon and Cornwall
“There may well be tears but there maybe some smiles and laughter too as we learn about a person’s life and what made them special.”

I am honoured to write and deliver funerals, celebration of life ceremonies and memorial ceremonies capturing the life of your loved one.

The most important aspects of a celebration of life and funeral service, is that your loved one’s life is celebrated and that the character and essence of your lost loved one including their wishes, are reflected in the service.

Your ceremony can be held in various locations such as natural burial grounds, crematoriums, village halls, hotels or even your own garden.

Working with your family to conduct a personalised ceremony, incorporating words, poems, music, hymns, readings, rituals or whatever else you would like to include – there are so many options available to you.

Any personal preferences, family priorities, cultural or religious traditions can be included in the ceremony.

A ceremony that reflects how the person’s life had meaning and how their life will continue to influence others beyond their death, gives a sense of that person living on within the hearts, minds and actions of others.

Together we will chat about your departed loved one’s wishes and life story, to create a celebration of a life ceremony whether that is a burial, cremation, memorial or ashes ceremony.
